Users can restore loans online from “MyAccount@HKUL” regarding the collection website.
What types of materials could be renewed?
Many things can online be renewed except if:
Renewal restrictions
Users are permitted to restore loans as much as the utmost loan period unless a recall or hold happens to be put. When the optimum loan period is reached, the product needs to be came back so that you can again be checked-out.
The maximum loan period for every loan duration (HKUL products):

Just how to restore things online?
- Access your blood circulation record from “MyAccount@HKUL” from the library website
- HKU Staff and Students: Enter your HKU Portal ID and PIN. (if you don’t have Portal ID and PIN or have forgotten yours, please relate to the data tech Services website).
- Other collection users (including AREA, alumni, Circle of Friends, JULAC users and distance learners in Mainland Asia): Enter your Library Card Number and PIN ((First time users can cause your own personal collection password right right right here. For those who have forgotten your PIN, please reset your approach or password Services Counter for help).
- View your record
- “Loans” tab shows the amount of items which have now been lent.
- Restore your things
- Click “Renew all”or click the “Loans” tab to display all checked-out products and find the desired product to restore. The newest date that is due determined through the date of renewal.
- If you have no solution to restore, you might click to the information on loans to realise why renewal just isn’t available ( ag e.g. Recalled).
- Things renewed
- A message “All loans have now been effectively renewed” and a fresh date that is due be presented if renewal is prosperous.
- A note “Only some loans have now been successfully renewed” will likely be presented or even all renewals had been effective.
- Indication out
- Simply Click on your own name presented during the top right part and press “Sign out” to leave your blood supply record.
